Hairs 2 Beautiful is a small studio at 10614 Providence Rd. in Charlotte, operated by owner and stylist Kim Dejulio. Services are booked by appointment only, Wednesday through Saturday, through the online booking link, by text or email, or through Instagram. New clients fill out a form before booking, and a Zoom call may be needed before a first appointment.

Balayage is the studio's core service. It is hand-painted freehand with a clay-based lightener, which the studio says grows out more softly than traditional foil highlights. Hair color is offered as a single process to cover gray or to lighten the overall shade. Every color client has a consultation first to talk through how many visits are likely, what upkeep can be done at home, how often to come in, and budget. The French haircut and style is the other main offering.

Kim also teaches. The studio runs Sunlights balayage classes in three formats: Balayage Baby, a four-hour hands-on session painting on a mannequin; Painting Balayage, a full day of mannequin work with lunch and live-model painting; and Balayage Brilliance, a two-hour look-and-learn class. Classes are held at a host salon, at the owner's studio, or at beauty schools, and private or semi-private sessions can be arranged. Each participant receives Sunlights swag. Pricing and travel are discussed before booking, and a 50% deposit reserves a class.

Pricing is quoted from starting prices that depend on hair length and thickness, service time, and the products used. The exact price is set after a consultation. Color booked on its own must include a blow dry or a haircut and style, and an extra charge applies when color needs correcting or has faded. Small tweaks are free within the first two weeks, though that does not cover a change of mind or added services. Hair services are not refundable, and retail products bought at the studio can be exchanged within seven days. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies, with a $50 charge to rebook after a cancellation or no-show.

The studio aims to protect the integrity of the hair so it stays healthy through color and cutting work.
