Hairloom Studios is a Denver salon owned and operated by Denae. The salon describes itself as a hidden gem in the city and states it has more than 16 years of experience. Denae's stated approach favors quality over quantity, avoids factory-style services, and gives each client individual attention, with double booking only on rare occasions.

On the hair side, the salon offers balayage, a hand-painted highlight technique that blends color gradually through the hair, and the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment, which the salon says reduces frizz, adds shine and halves blow-dry time, lasting approximately 12 weeks. Luxury extensions use 100% human hair with hidden application methods and can be customized for any length or color, including short hair. Extension clients must book a consultation before their first appointment. That consultation covers length, density, color, application method and budget.

Waxing covers brows, upper and lower lip, underarms, full face, inner thighs, lower legs, Brazilian areas, and body waxing with sugar hair removal. Brazilian hair removal takes hair from the root. Whether sugar or wax suits a client is decided during consultation, based on skin sensitivity. Pregnancy accommodations are offered from the first trimester through delivery, and clients in their last month should let the salon know so the wax can be planned. Clients are advised to wait 24 hours after waxing before intimacy to reduce ingrown hairs. The hair removal room has a medical grade electric table rated to support 750 pounds.

Clients can book online at any time and receive text and email reminders, or text or call (720) 428-1226. Hours are Fridays 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM on alternating weeks; the salon is closed Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. Cancellations by phone or text need at least 48 hours notice, and cancelling within 24 hours is charged at 100% of the service total. Rescheduling needs contact by phone or text at least 24 hours ahead, or can be done online. Email is not accepted for changes. Appointments end at the scheduled time, and a missed appointment due to lateness is charged in full. Visibly ill clients may be rescheduled on the day, and the salon keeps a waitlist.
