The salon says it aims to be one of the best hair salons in Portland, Oregon, and it describes itself as focused on becoming an industry leader there.

Haircuts are booked by time, and a one-hour haircut starts at $95 while a one-and-a-half-hour cut starts at $142. Each cut includes a shampoo, a conditioning treatment, a precision cut and a blow-dry finish. Specialty undercut or design work, very thick hair and hair past the waist should be mentioned at booking so enough time can be reserved. First-time clients, and anyone who has not visited in more than six months, complete a pre-appointment form with photos of their current hair or lashes and the looks they like. Some clients are asked to come in for an in-person consultation when hair or lash health is a concern or corrective color is needed.

Color is customized to each client, and most work falls into lightening, darkening or dimensional gradation. Pricing for hair color starts at $116 per hour and depends on time, previous applications, the dimension wanted, tone, and hair length and thickness. Specialty blonding requires a consultation first. The salon also has color lines for clients who are sensitive to color.

Beyond hair, the salon offers facials built around Yon-Ka products, microneedling, dermaplaning, lash and brow services, and waxing. Lash Academy offers classic and volume lash training, a fan-making class, and one-on-one training by the hour for licensed hairstylists and estheticians, or cosmetology students in some states. The bridal team offers a free first one-hour appointment and a bride hair and makeup trial, and destination weddings carry travel fees based on distance.

The salon is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lash appointments and weddings are also available on Sundays, or by appointment.

The salon says it guarantees the quality of its products and services. Color is tailored to each client, and in-person consultations are used when hair or lash health is in question.
