Hair Studio and spa has two Fairfax locations. The salon describes its feel as warm and familial, with guests treated like friends, and says its aim is to go beyond what clients expect. Services are by appointment only and can be booked online through the Book Now page, or by phone at 703-261-6268.

Stylists talk with each client before a service and plan the result they are after. Prices depend on the stylist's level: a Hair Stylist or a Master Stylist or Master Colorist. A single process color is $85 with a Hair Stylist and $100 with a Master Colorist, and a full highlight or balayage is $180 with a Hair Stylist and $220 with a Master Colorist. Color consultations are complimentary.

The menu is organized under Style, Color, Texture and Makeup. Style includes children's cuts for under 12, men's and women's cuts, blowouts, and special occasion and wedding day hair. Hair extensions are offered by consultation only.

The staff attend hair shows and education classes throughout the year to keep up with trends. Retail on site includes Kerastase, Gloss Absolu, Olivia Garden, L'Huile Originale, Bain Chroma Respect shampoo and Kerastase Fresh Affair dry shampoo. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 10am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 5pm by appointment. The salon is closed on Mondays.
