Clients can have Hair Sprinkles installed on traditional, sister or micro locs, which the brand says should last at least nine months and up to two years. Locs need to be at least one year mature for a permanent installation, or nine months for a temporary one. Loose hair, including afros, curly and straight textures, can be fitted with a temporary installation that lasts two to three weeks or until the next shampoo or style.

Each appointment begins with a short consultation, which is included in the service. Installation time runs from about 30 minutes to several hours depending on the service booked.
