The braid menu includes cornrows, faux locs, box braids, boho braids and Fulani braids. Fulani braids are a flat $250 and take about 420 minutes, while box braids start at $200 and boho braids start at $250.

Color services include gloss, lightening wash, root retouch, single process, Russian Roulette, lowlights, partial and full highlights, and alternative coloring. Alternative coloring pricing depends on hair length, density and how much product is needed. A free 15-minute consultation is required for every color client, and lightening wash lifts artificial or natural pigment by one to three levels.

For curly hair, the curly cut includes shampooing, a steamed deep conditioning curl mask and a custom layered cut, and the curly cut with style adds curl styling and a diffuser finish. Treatments include the Filament Repair Mask, a $50 option with a hair steam that the salon describes as repairing bonds and adding moisture; Black Diva, a semi-permanent smoothing and relaxation system for curly, coily and highly textured hair that the salon says is formulated without formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde or harsh alkaline relaxers, with results the salon says last up to 3 months; Restorative Treatment, a semi-permanent internal bonding treatment that softens texture and controls frizz without changing natural curl pattern, with results the salon says last up to 12 weeks; and Tokio Inkarami, a 5-step Japanese treatment that the salon says restores hair strength by up to 140 percent.

Deposits range from $15 to $150 depending on the service and are non-refundable, paid at booking to hold an appointment. Appointments need 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling; cancellations under 48 hours are charged 50 percent of the service cost, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full cost. A 15-minute grace period applies to late arrivals, and after 20 minutes the appointment may be canceled with late cancellation fees.
