Hair Peace Studio

Hair Peace Studio is a hair salon in Clearwater, Florida, set inside Sola Salons. According to the salon, it is the place to visit in the Tampa Bay area.

Libby Duncan opened the studio in 2014, after spending the first ten years of her career in large, busy salons. Services run from haircuts, styling and color through foil highlights, balayage and treatments, and the salon names dimensional blonding, babylights, gray coverage and hand-tied extensions as its specialties.

New guests are asked to book online. A free 15-minute new guest consultation is offered on the booking page, and the stylist contacts each new guest by email before the first appointment.

Hand-tied extensions are sewn in without heat, glue or sticky tape, using high-quality wefts. The hand-tied extension consultation is complimentary and takes place virtually once a pre-consultation form has been submitted. Extension packages include a take-home kit of hair care products, and a non-refundable $500 deposit is required to book an installation. Packages do not include color for natural hair, and maintenance appointments are needed every 6 to 10 weeks.

Listed prices include shampoo and blow dry at $50, full color from roots to ends at $150, partial foil highlights at $180, and the Brazilian Blowout with haircut at $295. Hand-tied extension packages are listed at $1,000 for Sew Full, $1,500 for Sew Long and $2,000 for Sew Extra.

The studio begins with a consultation and chooses color formulas that protect the condition of the hair, with the suitability of each look and the client's maintenance preferences taken into account.
