Hair On Point Salon

Hair On Point Salon is run by owner and stylist Nikki Harris, and the salon describes its goal as making the experience simple, affordable, and memorable. Visits are by appointment only, and the salon is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Braiding is the core of the menu. Styles come in small, medium, and large sizes and range from shoulder length to waist length. Knotless, box, Fulani, bohemian, lemonade, and feed-in braids are set at mid-back length by default, with a waist-length add-on available. Bohemian braids finish with undone curled ends and are offered for adults and children. Goddess braids are knotless braids with curly synthetic or human hair added; the salon does not supply human hair for them, so clients may bring their own curly hair, and adding more curls raises the price. Micro link extensions are also installed, with the salon providing the hair. All braiding styles include Outre Xpressions pre-stretched braiding hair. Colors 1 and 1B are stocked, and other colors can be requested in the booking notes.

Booking involves a $50.00 deposit for all styles, or 50% of the price for styles priced at $50.00 or less. The deposit is taken off the balance on the day of the appointment. No-shows and appointments not rescheduled or canceled within 24 hours forfeit the deposit, which is not refunded or moved to another booking. Only one reschedule is allowed, for a one-time fee; a second reschedule cancels the appointment. Add-on services cannot be added on the day, and products and services are not refundable. Paying by debit or credit card through the Square reader adds a $10.00 fee to the balance. Clients with a sensitive scalp can ask for the braiding hair to be cleansed by leaving a booking note at least two days ahead, and are asked not to put products on their hair or scalp before the visit. Extra guests may not stay in the salon during a service unless they are also getting one. Prices, services, policies, and hours may change without notice.
