Visits are by appointment only. Clients book by phone or email, and new clients are asked to provide a credit card to hold an appointment. Color services begin with a consultation, after which a coloring technique is applied and a treatment follows each color. The salon describes its feel as personal and relaxing. Many clients park at the nearby Whole Foods while they shop there.
The salon names Wella as its coloring line and says those products have low odor. For blonde hair it uses a Blondplex formula, a method covered in 2016 press. The salon describes itself as the best blonde hair colorist and best hair salon in DC; that is its own claim. In June 2016, DC Modern Luxury gave the salon Best Salon for Blondes honors.
Each color service opens with a consultation, then pairs a coloring technique with a treatment applied after every color.
