Hair By Shelbs is a salon suite at Grand Avenue in Chino, operated by independent stylist Shelby Schroeder. The menu is organized into blonding, color, cuts, extensions, styling and treatments.
Blonding ranges from a mini face-framing foil refresh, with an optional money piece, to partial blonding around the face and crown and a full head of foils finished with tip outs for maximum brightness. Color services include a gloss to refresh dull color, a root touch-up suited to grey coverage, a full color that does not include blonding, and a custom lived-in color with lowlights, highlights and root smudge for an easy grow-out.
Extension work is done with hand-tied extensions. A consultation is listed at no charge and covers pricing, hair goals and color matching. Existing clients can book a mini move-up, and a full re-install removes the hand-tied extensions completely before putting them back in.
Appointments are booked online, either directly or through a request form that asks whether the guest is new. The suite is open Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and closed Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Work is handled by one stylist, with the focus on helping each guest feel confident in the result.
