Hair by Ruth B is an Indiana salon owned and run by Ruth B, a licensed cosmetologist who also works as its stylist. Ruth has held that license since 2016. Before relocating, she spent four years working in Chicagoland, and after the move she set up the salon.

Services are grouped into color, cuts, extensions, treatments, styling, waxing and other. Many color services include blowout styling, and toner or gloss can be added to refresh blonde or highlighted hair. Olaplex can be added to color or lightener, or booked alone to strengthen hair.

Hair consultations and extension consultations are offered at no charge, and a free perm consultation is required before a perm can be booked. Tape-in extensions are offered by consultation only. Gift cards are available for friends and family or for future use.

Booking policies: cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the appointment. Cancellations inside 48 hours are charged 25% of the scheduled cost. Clients who arrive 15 minutes after the start time may need to reschedule and may be charged a cancellation fee.

Ruth B aims to help each client see their own beauty through their hair, and works with unusual ideas to reach the result the client wants.
