Much of the menu is built around locs, including retwists, retwists with retie, microlocs, goddess locs, boho locs, premade instant locs and spring twists. Protective styles, haircuts, color and the big chop round out the offerings, along with styling such as braid downs, blowouts and silk presses, and curl defining.
Services use a handmade herbal tonic, herbal spray and herbal oil blend, and herbal rinses can be custom blended for specific hair concerns. Treatments on the menu include herbal rinses, deep conditioning, protein treatment and a protective prep service. Extra time can be added in one-hour or two-hour blocks.
The studio is open Thursday and Friday, plus a shorter Saturday morning. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval required before the appointment. Deposits are required for some services, including boho locs and most retwist and retie appointments. A 50% fee applies to no-shows, last-minute cancellations within 24 hours, and cancellations in the 24 to 48 hour window, and deposits are kept.
