The menu covers classic cornrows, box braids, several knotless variations, Fulani and feed-in braids, along with faux loc styles such as soft locs, butterfly locs, bob locs and mermaid locs, and spring twists. The studio serves adults and children, with some styles designed for younger clients.

Each style has a listed price and a set deposit, and hair is included in most braid and loc styles. Mermaid Braids and Mermaid locs use 100% human hair curls, and the price can change for added length, fullness or color. Takedowns and loc touchups are available for styles that were installed at Hair by Lael.

Clients are asked to arrive with hair washed, detangled and blow-dried, and hair should be at least 3 inches long for every style. Fresh trims are best avoided before braid appointments, though they are fine before loc styles. Deposits are non-refundable and paid when the appointment is booked, and Mermaid styles need two weeks' notice. Cancellations need 48 hours' notice, and late arrivals have a short grace period before a late fee applies.

Digital gift certificates are sold in fixed amounts of $50, $100, $150 and $200, or in a custom amount. A gallery on the business's site shows braid and loc styles, including knotless, Fulani, Bohemian, soft locs, mermaid locs and distressed locs.

Adara Lowery runs the studio as a braiding and faux loc service for adults and children, with a set menu of styles, listed deposits and clear booking rules.
