Hair by Him Salon was established in 2002 and is owned by Marcus Antonio, who also works as a traveling stylist. The salon's listed specialties are healthy hair, short cuts, hair loss, custom color and short hair extensions.

Consultations are offered on Mondays from 1 to 6 pm, including an in-person consultation for $30, an event consultation for $50, and virtual consultations for color or hair loss for $60. Virtual consultations are 15 minutes. The perfect platinum pixie, at $550 and about four hours, requires a virtual consultation before booking.

The cutting menu includes a basic shear-only shampoo, cut and style for relaxed hair at $130, a big chop at $300 (about 2 hours 30 minutes, not offered to hair loss clients), and razor or clipper specialty cuts as a $80 add-on. Relaxer retouch is $120, and a platinum silk press is $120 for hair between 6 and 8 inches long. A platinum pixie retouch at $400 is offered at eight weeks only. Color correction is $180, and a semi-demi rinse color add-on is $40. A smoothing treatment is $175 and takes about two hours.

For hair loss clients, the salon lists The HairByHim Experience at $500 (about three hours, with color adding $50), a non-surgical pixie full lace unit at $850 (price varies by length), and a cranial prosthesis using a mesh integration hair system at $1,400 (about five hours). A hair loss shampoo and style at $85 uses a growth shampoo and conditioner. Weave options include a QuickWeave bob with leave-out for $150, a pixie quick weave with two packs for $225, and a natural-looking long-hair quick weave from $150 where hair is not included. Treatment add-ons are deep conditioning ($20), protein ($35) and Olaplex ($40).

Booking terms are firm. Deposits are required at booking and are non-refundable. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice forfeits the deposit and charges the difference up to 50% of the service price, and a no-show is charged the full service price plus a $25 rescheduling fee and card charges. A $25 rebooking fee applies, sales are final, and clients who neither cancel nor no-show may be unable to book future appointments. A $50 before/after-hour fee applies to outside-hours and same-day bookings, and a $100 VIP fee applies to private-setting appointments.
