The Don Collective

The Don Collective was founded in Rock Hill in 2025 by Tasha and Cierra. The salon describes itself as a luxury natural hair studio that works with natural hair in every form. The business also operates three named businesses: One Love Apothecary, Divine Locs & Tresses and Nefertiti Beauty.

The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and closed on Sundays. Before a braid or loc install, a sit-down hair and loc consultation covers hair condition, styling goals, and a personalized plan with pricing. A skin consultation includes an assessment and a tailored product and care suggestion. A one-on-one herbal consultation, in person or remote, runs 60 to 90 minutes, starts with an intake form, and ends with a customized wellness plan and email support afterward.

Most hair services take a nonrefundable $30 deposit at booking, applied to the appointment cost. Micro locs, instant locs and loc extensions take a deposit of 20 percent of the total, and loc extensions with hair take a $150 deposit. Consultations and appointments under $30 need no deposit. Deposits can be paid through CashApp with your name and appointment date in the payment notes, and other payment methods are arranged by calling or texting 803-262-2661. An appointment is not confirmed until the deposit arrives.

Arriving 5 or more minutes late means calling the salon; 10 or more minutes late carries a $15 late fee, and a stylist may cancel at their discretion from 15 minutes late. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours ahead, with one free reschedule that keeps the deposit. Cancelling outright makes the deposit nonrefundable.

The Divine Mentorship Program offers hands-on training and business guidance for aspiring and established stylists. The Loc Mastery Course has beginner and advanced tracks covering starter methods, styling, extensions, repairs and pricing strategy, and an Herb Foundations class introduces the basics of working with herbs. Every Saturday from 8:30am to 12:30pm the team hosts the Old Town Market at Fountain Park, 300 E. Main Street.
