Hair by Danielle works from a private salon suite on Lee Blvd. in Leawood, in the Prairie Village-Leawood area of Kansas. The suite is next to a local wine and spirits store, and a private driveway leads to parking behind the building.

Her specialty is luxury K-tip extensions, which are applied strand by strand to add length, fullness and dimension. She also offers custom color and cutting.

Extension work begins with a consultation. For K-tip extensions, that is a personal conversation followed by a plan covering how much hair is needed, length, color and placement, then installation and care instructions. Most K-tip transformations fall between $2,500 and $3,000, depending on the hair needed and individual goals, and specific plans and pricing are settled during the consultation. Extensions need ongoing home care and maintenance, which is reviewed before booking.

The virtual consultation is a 15 to 30 minute FaceTime call covering hair goals, the look a client wants, lifestyle, maintenance preferences and extension techniques. The $50 fee is invoiced by text, the booking is confirmed once it is paid, and the fee is applied toward the cost of the extension service.

Extension work is planned individually, with the aim of natural-looking results that suit each client's hair goals, lifestyle and upkeep preferences.
