Hair Bizz works from a suite in Chester, Virginia, with a menu that covers protective styling alongside cutting, color, relaxers and wash-and-set services. Twists, crochet braids, Miracle Knots and two-layer cornrows are also offered.

Clients are asked to add every service they need when they book. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments, though it can be moved to another time if the change is made within 48 hours of the appointment. An appointment is cancelled if a client is 15 or more minutes late without letting the salon know.

The booking calendar loads about four weeks ahead, and a new schedule is posted by 3 p.m. on Sundays. If a preferred time is not showing, clients can join a waitlist. A 15-minute appointment consultation is available for anyone who wants to talk through a style before booking.

Clients who have a completed nail appointment with Nailsbymya receive $10 off any service booked afterward.
