According to the salon, all of its stylists have at least 15 years of experience creating haircuts and color. Clients can book a free 15-minute consultation before committing to a service, and extensions are priced after a consultation.

Color work covers toner, root retouches, bleach retouches, all over color, partial and full head highlights or lowlights, and vivid colors. Hair services include men's and women's shampoo and cut, blowouts, curling or flat iron styling, deep condition and scalp treatments, Malibu C hard water and mineral removal, bang trims, and perms. Facial waxing is also offered.

Shine Savers packages can be paid monthly on a recurring schedule or prepaid, and each service in a package is transferable. Options include deep conditioning, scalp rejuvenation, women's cuts, root retouches, and combined cut and color plans, some with a set number of visits and one or more free.

Hair donations are accepted from 8 inches long in any color and are mailed to Children With Hair Loss; the donation is $75 with a $25 deposit. Haircare and styling classes are capped at four people. A mentorship program offers one-on-one training, in-salon classes on shampooing, treatments, cutting and coloring, and paths to assistant, commission, or rental stylist; applicants need at least 1300 hours of cosmetology school and must commit 3 hours a week to hands-on training with reliable transportation.

The salon aims for a meaningful visit with current haircuts and color, quality products and tools, client education in hair care and styling, and ties to the local community.
