Gwapaesthetics is a beauty and wellness studio in Tucson, Arizona. It began as a shared project between two sisters and is now led by one person, Katrina, the owner. The studio currently operates from a home in NW Tucson, and the address is sent by text once a booking is made.
The name comes from the Tagalog word for beautiful. The studio describes its mission in terms of intention, cultural roots and the beauty already present in each client, and says it is built on positivity, education and high-quality service.
Its practices are meant to be mindful, minimal and eco-conscious. The space and services draw on cultural roots and tropical inspiration.
Visits are by appointment only. A $30 non-refundable deposit is required for each booking and is applied toward the total. Lash clients are asked to book an allergy test two to three days before a lash or brow service. Shop items are available for local pickup, with orders placed by text.
The studio builds its work on positivity, education and high-quality service, with mindful, minimal and eco-conscious practices.
The space reflects cultural roots and tropical inspiration.
