Grow Hair Rehabilitation Studio opened in 2020 and works from two California locations: Huntington Beach, at 16450 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 200, and Palm Desert, at 74020 Alessandro Drive, Suite D. The studio's founder had been working with extension clients for years before the salon opened, and the studio was built around that practice.

The studio was created by Dana Nicole Fowler to build a salon of her own staffed by hand-picked extension specialists. Stylists are trained to use high-quality extensions and safe application methods, and they continue their education after joining.

A visit usually starts with a booking made online, since the studio does not take walk-ins. Clients who are unsure what they want can ask a specialist for advice, and extensions can be color matched to a client's existing or desired shade. The application is adjusted to each client's hair type and needs. The booking form covers first-time extensions, re-application, single or multiple color services, haircuts, and blowouts or styling.

Care products for new extensions are offered at the salon. The studio sells the products it uses along with other recommended items from its inventory.
