Grateful Head Hair Studio is a small studio in Lombard, Illinois, run by owner stylist Lynda. Color is the core of the work, with a focus on dimensional, lived-in results and modern gray coverage. Options range from gray camouflage and root touch-ups to foil and balayage, plus set color service blocks such as Touch of Grey, Just a Little Light, Here Comes the Sunshine, I Need a Miracle and AirTouch Block.

The fixed-price service blocks are built to show the full cost up front. The studio says new guest blocks carry no surprise add-ons or charges. AirTouch, used in the largest block, blends color with air instead of teasing or backcombing. Some color, dimension and blonding services are booked together with a haircut or blow dry.

A visit is calm and clean, with plants and music in the room, and complimentary beverages, snacks and wi-fi. A 30-minute consultation is available for $50. Guests who have not been seen in the past year are asked to book through the New Guests page so they can have an extended consultation first.

Products are vegan, eco-friendly and cruelty-free. Prices are subject to change. Booking requests are answered within 24 hours. Cancelling at least 24 hours ahead carries no charge, while later cancellations are charged 50% of the service price and no-shows 100%.
