Gorgeous by Doris is an extension business led by owner Doris Morrow, who specializes in Great Lengths, Hair Dreams MicroLines, hand sewn-in and EasiHair Pro tape-in extensions. Extension stylist Brogan works with Doris on appointments.

New clients can book a free consultation to talk through whether Great Lengths extensions suit them. Questions are welcome during the consultation, and the business says client comfort and privacy come first. During appointments, clients can relax with a cold drink and snacks, and can ask for a show or bring their own DVDs.

A first full head of extensions can take four or more hours, depending on hair thickness. Maintenance visits, which remove grown-out extensions and attach new ones, usually take about an hour and a half. After installation the stylist trims and styles the extensions into a long-hair look. Clients are asked not to wash their hair for 48 hours after extensions are attached.
