Silk presses come in four Good Hair levels. A basic press suits regular clients or hair that is already used to heat. The intense and extreme levels are for clients who have gone longer between presses or wear more protective styles. The Olaplex level adds that treatment to the press, and a first-time silk press includes a one-on-one consultation along with a protein treatment, deep conditioning, a precision trim and the press. Trims up to two to three inches are included with a silk press; anything longer is charged as a haircut.

Extension work uses only good quality hair. Sew-ins last around three months and closures around two, with maintenance visits in between. Wash and blow dry is complimentary with installs. Tape-ins are priced without hair, and a consultation is required before booking a tape-in or microlink service or color on natural hair.

For a smooth visit, clients should add every needed add-on when booking so the service and products match what they need. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Saturday, though waits of about an hour can happen, and sew-in services are not available to walk-ins on Saturdays. Color services need advance booking. Children are not allowed in the salon, guest numbers are limited, and the salon only works on hair that was done at Good Hair. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and a $50 fee applies to later cancellations. After two cancellations, a client can no longer book with that stylist. Payment is accepted by debit or credit card, Apple Pay and cash, and Cash App is not accepted. Clients who are sick are asked to stay home and reschedule, and refunds are not issued for sew-ins.

Stylists are matched to clients by experience, advanced training and specialty, with care aimed at keeping hair in good condition over time.
