Glow Salon & Spa

Glow opened in 2021 and works from a single private suite on Chatsworth Street in Granada Hills. Hair and skin work share the same space, and the salon describes the visit as calmer and more one-on-one than a busy floor. Co-owners Linet and Carineh perform the work themselves.

Hair services cover women's and men's haircuts, blowouts, and special-occasion updos, along with root touch-ups, single-process and full color, toner or gloss from $45, partial, full, and face-framing highlights, and balayage or ombre from $220 (about 3 to 4 hours). Keratin smoothing starts at $250 and takes about 2 to 4 hours; clients wait 48 to 72 hours before washing unless the stylist advises otherwise. The salon says the smoothing lasts roughly three to five months with sulfate-free shampoo and careful first-wash timing. For balayage, it suggests a refresh every three to four months and a toner or gloss every six to eight weeks in between.

Skin services include several facials: a 30-minute mini facial at $70, a 60-minute European facial at $120, a 60-minute detoxing facial at $120, a 75-minute relaxing facial at $150, and 80-minute options including a Red Carpet facial at $190 and a dermaplaning facial or Hydrafacial at $175 each. Hydrafacials are suggested every four to six weeks for maintenance, with the cadence set at consultation. The skin suite uses Circadia, Hale & Hush, and PRIORI lines. Waxing, brow and lash tinting (tint and shaping from $55), lash lift and tint at $125, microblading at $499 including the mapping appointment and a touch-up after healing, and electrolysis are also offered.

Booking is by appointment, though walk-ins are welcome when there is room. Final pricing is confirmed at consultation before any service begins. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice; late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled price. Cash, card, and Venmo are accepted. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and closed Sunday and Monday. Clients travel from Northridge, Porter Ranch, and the Chatsworth area; the salon has no location in Northridge or Porter Ranch.

The suite also rents stations to established independent beauty professionals who bring their own clients and manage their own bookings. Station renters book directly with the renter, and Linet and Carineh do not perform those services.

Treatments and color are shaped around each client's hair, skin, and daily routine, and the two owners do the work personally.
