Mariana founded Glow & Dagger to give clients skin care that helps them understand what their skin needs. Before opening the studio, she worked at a range of spas and franchises.

Visits begin with a double cleanse and exfoliation, with extractions when they are needed, and the treatment then moves into a mask chosen for the skin. The Foundation Facial, a 60-minute treatment at $129, closes with targeted serums, moisturizer and SPF, and includes a shoulder and neck massage. The studio describes it as a good starting point for first-time clients.

The Precision Facial is a fully customized 90-minute treatment at $169 that includes everything in the Foundation Facial, with extra time spent wherever the skin needs it. The Back Treatment is a 50-minute service at $99 aimed at breakouts, rough patches and buildup on the back, using a double cleanse, gentle exfoliation, extractions if needed, a targeted mask, selected serums and a light massage.

The studio says it works in a science-based, human-focused and judgment-free way. Appointments are not rushed: pace, protocol and the time spent explaining each step are adjusted to the individual client, and the care is designed to fit busy schedules. It welcomes people who have felt overwhelmed, confused or judged about their skin care.
