glo Bar Salon is a hair and beauty salon at 1567 Military Road in Kenmore, New York. The salon describes itself as a one-stop shop, bringing color, cuts, styling, nails, waxing and lash services under one roof.

The salon was founded on the idea of making a visit feel like a treat rather than another errand. Owner and stylist Gloria-Lynn Calvaneso, a longtime professional stylist, conceived the concept. The space is designed to look attractive and to feel calming as soon as clients arrive, and it includes a backdrop for photos. Wine is offered to clients.

The salon is appointment only. It is open Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am, Friday from 11:30 am and Saturday from 12 pm, with other times available on request. Clients can book online, by email, by phone, by text or through Facebook Messenger. New color clients book a 15 to 30 minute consultation for $75, and that fee is subtracted from the color appointment. Lightener mixes are added to another service and cannot be booked alone. Partial and full foil services must be paired with a color refresh and either a blowout or a haircut, otherwise the appointment is cancelled.

The Blowout Tab membership gives clients two blowouts a month for $60. Unused blowouts roll over month to month and do not expire while the membership is active, members receive a free birthday blowout and 10% off product purchases, and extra blowouts beyond two a month are $5 off each. Memberships can be frozen or cancelled at any time, and after cancelling, members have 30 days to use remaining blowouts. Bridal styling is available on location; clients email or text their name and phone number to receive package details. Balayage starts at $350 and includes the first lightener mix and toner, with a consultation required.

Aims to make each salon visit feel relaxed and worth the time, rather than a chore to fit in.

The space is styled to look beautiful and to feel relaxing on arrival, with a backdrop for photos.
