Glitter and Geeks Salon

The salon opened in 2018 as a salon studio, founded by Christiana Sayyah, and grew into a multi-chair salon in 2021. Each of the four artists keeps a separate booking page, so clients book with the artist they want.

The salon describes itself as inclusive, welcoming clients regardless of gender, sexual identity, skin color or background. It does not serve people who spread hate, are disrespectful, or do not follow the salon's boundaries. Its artists describe themselves as open-minded and say they enjoy creating art with clients' hair.

Business hours are 10 AM to 4 PM on Mondays and Fridays, 10 AM to 3 PM from Tuesday to Thursday, and the salon is closed on weekends. Guests are not allowed at appointments unless there is a medical reason, since there is no room for extra people, and children must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian during a service. In-person bookings from $50 to $4,000 can be paid with Buy Now, Pay Later, with approval needed before the appointment. Haircuts can be added to a color appointment for $64, though that add-on is not offered for haircut-only visits.
