The salon was founded by Carol Pires, who has worked in makeup since 2004 and is a licensed esthetician. Her makeup and bridal background shaped the business, and the waxing and lash services were added later. The salon's own account says these services grew out of Carol's work, and that she found the work came naturally to her.

Waxing is done with Comfort Wax, the salon's own hard wax, which is custom-blended and formulated to grip hair rather than skin. The salon says it reduces discomfort, redness and irritation compared with the strip wax used at chain salons, and that waxed skin stays smooth for up to six weeks. Glaminators are trained in-house for waxing, and the salon states its wax specialists are certified. New clients get a complimentary first wax, choosing from eyebrow, bikini line, underarm, nose or ear wax.

Lash services include classic, hybrid and volume extensions, lifts and tints, and flash lashes. The salon describes its lash technicians as certified Lash Glaminators. Bridal services include trials at the Wayne location, bridal party work, and on-location appointments for weddings, with travel fees possibly applying.
