Gigi Lein Artistic Collective Consulting operates from Studio 3A at 181 Wexford Bayne Road in Wexford. The business offers hair, makeup and image consulting, and its approach to image work is to draw out a client's own features rather than turn them into someone else.

Gigi's path started in the performing arts, with training at Pittsburgh CLO and later acting study at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the New York Film Academy and Art of Acting Studio. After working in regional and national theater and moving to New York and then Los Angeles, Gigi taught dance and directed children's musicals and plays there. Cosmetology training at South Hills Beauty Academy followed, and Gigi worked at Izzazu Salon and Spa before opening Haven Boutique Salon in Sola Salon Studios. That salon later expanded to a storefront in Wexford, which is where the current studio is.

The menu is organized around packages, from a $75 hair goals consultation up to a $400 package with full balayage or custom color, reparative treatments and a Head Shape Matters cut and blowout. Corrective haircutting, color correction, reparative hair and scalp work, smoothing treatments, extensions and bridal or event styling make up most of the work. Gigi has also collaborated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, worked on hair, makeup and consulting projects with Merritt Lee Photography, and taken on commercial and print projects for brands including UPMC and Bayer.

Image consulting is built around enhancing each client's natural features, with haircuts shaped to the individual head and face.
