Genetically Curated is a curly hair salon at 6165 Stage Road in Bartlett. The salon describes itself as a curl boutique and aims to be a place where clients feel little judgment and can work out what suits their own hair.

Cuts start with removing product buildup and impurities, then shampoo, conditioning and a cut shaped to the client's natural curl pattern. Cut Curated with Curl Rx adds curl coaching tailored to the client's curls and daily routine, and the salon recommends this combination for new clients. Curl Rx on its own is an educational session on getting salon-style results at home, covering product recommendations and application and styling techniques.

Genetically Curated Curls is a wash-and-style service where curls are cleansed, conditioned and styled in their natural form, the approach often called wash 'n go. Silk Press is a straightening service that includes a heat protectant, thermal straightening and styling. The salon says clients can expect a stress-free, well-informed visit with a plan made for them.

Booking requires a credit or debit card, which is not charged until the visit. Changes or cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, and no-shows, may result in the card being charged up to $100. Clients who arrive 15 minutes or more late are asked to call and may need to rebook. Services are not offered to children under 12, and minors need a parent or guardian present until their service is complete. A complimentary refinement is offered if the client gets in touch within 7 days of the original appointment.
