Gee Glow Beauty was started by Mingee with a focus on natural, detail-focused Korean beauty. What began with one artist has grown into a small team of lash artists working out of the Chinatown studio.

Each service is shaped around the client, from curl pattern to styling, based on their eyes, features and lifestyle. The studio says it does not rush appointments or push services a client does not need, and will suggest a different style or add-on when it would suit better.

Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted, though same-day openings sometimes appear on the booking page. A $50 deposit holds an appointment. Regular bookings let clients choose their artist, while Happy Hour bookings are offered at a promotional price without artist selection.

The Korean Glueless Lash Lift is the studio's lift for clients with naturally straight or downward lashes that do not hold a curl, and it suits first-timers who want lash enhancement without extensions. A lift usually lasts six to eight weeks. Lash tint comes in brown, dark brown or black and deepens natural lashes after a lift, and a Korean lash lift with tint is offered as a full package. A combo lash lift, lash extensions, extension fills and the Bestie Deal round out the lash menu.

Before a lift, clients should arrive with clean lashes, without mascara or a curler that day, and bring glasses or a case if they wear contacts. Anyone who has had a lift in the last eight weeks should say so when booking. Lashes should stay dry for the first 12 to 24 hours, and mascara can return after the first day, with water-based or tubing formulas recommended. Fixing a lift done elsewhere depends on lash condition and needs a consultation, and the studio does not promise fixes it cannot deliver. Extension fills from other salons are not accepted.

Each set and lift is customized to the client's eyes, features and lifestyle, and the studio aims for results that suit natural lashes rather than overdone looks.
