The stations are set up so a hair service and a nail service can run side by side, with hair washed and blown out while the nails are done.
Hair is central to the menu. Color options start with a strand test, done before any color or bleach service, and move through gloss, root touch-ups, double process, highlights, low lights, freehand balayage and custom color. Smoothing treatments include the house YARA Frizz Fighter, which is formaldehyde-free and lasts about three months, though it is not a permanent straightening treatment. Brazilian Keratin, Magic Sleek and Hair Botox are also offered. Haircuts range from kids' and men's cuts to full cuts with blowouts. Tape-in extensions are priced by pack, and the hair is described as 100% natural human hair from Brazil, sourced from a single donor. A free 15-minute extensions consultation covers length, volume, color match and how many packs are needed.
Skin, body and beauty services fill out the rest of the salon. Facials include a customized YARA Signature Facial, a Sculptural Lift Facial that uses manual massage and Biomechanical Stimulation, a Microcurrent Lift & Tone, and Regenerative Skin Therapy with exosomes and PDRN. Massage options include Stretch Thai Massage, a wood therapy sculpting massage for the upper or lower body, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal lymphatic drainage. Nails include gel, regular, e-file and bare nail options. Brows, lashes, threading, waxing, makeup and permanent makeup complete the menu. Permanent makeup covers microblading, eyeliner and lip blush, and touch-ups are for existing clients only, 4 to 8 weeks after the first appointment, with the same professional who did the original work.
Booking follows clear rules. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged 50%. Clients who do not arrive and do not let the salon know are charged the full service price. There is a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals, and later arrivals may be canceled and charged in full. Walk-ins are welcome and the salon tries to accommodate them. Packages that include a manicure do not cover dip powder removal, and clients who arrive with dip powder without notice are charged a no-show fee and receive no nail service. Private events are offered under the name Celebrate at YARA, and gift certificates can be customized in any amount.
