The salon began in the 1970s with four hair chairs and two nail tables. It first operated out of Garden City Center before moving to its current Pontiac Avenue location. Lynne Forlasto, the current owner, bought the business in 2006.

After the 2010 flood, the salon bought its building and grew from a single room to about 6,000 square feet. It now has eighteen hair chairs and five nail tables, staffed by seventeen hair stylists, two nail technicians and two estheticians.

Clients of all ages are welcome, including teens, seniors and children. Complimentary refreshments and adult beverages are offered during services. Appointments can be booked through the website.
