GAIA Head Spa

GAIA was founded by the couple Carolina and Arturo Salgado after they encountered head spas in Korea while traveling. The studio is in Suite 202 at 10405 Old Alabama Rd Con in Alpharetta. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and it is closed on Mondays. Phone is 470-589-4242.

Every visit begins with a one-on-one consultation and a microscope scalp analysis. Treatments are performed by licensed estheticians with trichology training. Guests can relax in a lounge with complimentary tea, and there is a self-service blow dry room with Shark FlexStyle Pro dryers. After each visit, the esthetician prepares a personalized at-home scalp care routine.

The Scalp Spa is a 60-minute treatment that includes a scalp analysis, a personalized deep scalp treatment, scalp steaming, halo therapy, aromatherapy, and a scalp and upper body massage. The Signature Scalp Spa adds red light therapy, sound therapy, and a mini facial with cryotherapy. The Complete GAIA Experience is a 2-hour visit combining a 3D AI skin scan, a microscopic scalp assessment, a customized facial, and a full scalp treatment with massage. The Glow Facial is a 45-minute facial with a double cleanse, dermaplaning, a soothing mask, oxygen infusion with a customized serum, and face, scalp and upper body massage, using Circadia products.

Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows are charged 60% of the total treatment cost to the card on file, and guests more than 20 minutes late will not be seen and are charged as a no-show. Treatments are best suited for guests 10 and older, and younger guests are welcome with an adult present throughout. Clients with color-treated or chemically processed hair are asked to mention recent chemical services when booking. For medically diagnosed conditions or significant hair loss, the business recommends seeing a dermatologist or trichologist alongside visits. Gift cards are available for any treatment.

Each visit starts with a consultation and microscope analysis of the scalp, and the aim is ongoing scalp care between appointments rather than a single treatment.
