The curly cut is a full curl detox and rehab process. It includes a detox with a hard water treatment, then conditioning, detangling and hydrating, followed by a dry cut in three dimensions and recommendations for products suited to the client's curls. Clients are asked to stop using oils and butters 30 days before the appointment, and the results are expected to last eight to twelve weeks with proper maintenance. The cutting method was taught by an outside curly-hair cutting educator.
