Free Hands Salon opened in 2020 under founder Priscila Rodrigues. Its menu covers hair color, cutting and styling, hair treatments and extensions, nail care, and waxing, so a single visit can address several needs.

The salon's guiding belief is that beauty is best expressed through the soul. Its visits are described as personalized and transformative, and hair work starts with each client's color, texture, vision and goals.

Color is a major focus. Balayage, a freehand painting technique, is a signature, alongside foil highlights, gloss, base color, root work and color correction. Corrections, tint-backs and creative color are priced after a consultation. Haircuts for men and women include a consultation, shampoo and conditioning, and the cut, and each haircut comes with two complimentary bang or neck trims with the same stylist.

Treatments include a four-step Amino Acids deep conditioning system for severely damaged or over-processed hair, which the salon says can last up to five weeks between visits, along with a non-formaldehyde Japanese straightening system and a Brazilian Blowout for frizz and curl. Every treatment includes a scalp massage.

If a result is not right, clients are asked to contact the salon right away, and adjustments are honored within seven to ten days of the original appointment. Clients are asked not to attempt a fix themselves or visit another salon first, since the complimentary rework then cannot be done. Refunds are not offered because of the nature of the services.

Guided by the belief that beauty is best expressed through the soul, the salon customizes color, cuts and treatments to each client.
