Flux Studio

Flux Studio is located at 1631 Nowland Ave in Fountain Square, on the southeast side of downtown Indianapolis.

Each facial starts with an evaluation of the skin. Treatments blend massage with skincare products, and the esthetician picks the approach only after examining the skin and discussing what the client wants to achieve. The Flux Facial is tailored to the individual and can bring together surface-level chemical peels, dermaplaning, enzyme treatments, extractions, OxygenRx, high frequency, LED light therapy and specialty masks. The Advanced Chemical Peel relies on stronger solutions than the surface peels used in the Flux Facial, and it can leave skin visibly peeling, which means a recovery period. Clients who are new to the salon are not offered it, because not everyone is a suitable candidate at a first visit. The Back Treatment is a separate service that includes exfoliation, extractions, a back massage and a treatment mask.

Massage options include Swedish, deep tissue and hot stone work. The Flux Massage is a customized session chosen by length, and Prenatal Massage uses a pregnancy bolster and is offered only after the first trimester. Manual Lymphatic Drainage follows the Vodder Method and is available as a face and scalp session, a 50-minute session or an 80-minute session, with the face and scalp option also sold as an add-on.

ProCell services begin with a consult, which is listed at no charge and covers goals, health history and a treatment plan. ProCell Microchanneling is an 80-minute face and neck treatment with an optional decollete add-on, and it is usually done as a series of three, with take-home aftercare serums. ProCell Microchanneling - Hair is a 50-minute treatment aimed at thinning, shedding or loss of density, and it includes a professional-strength hair growth serum for home use. The business describes this treatment as stimulating natural hair growth.

The studio sells gift cards in amounts of $50, $75, $100 and $200, or a custom amount. Gift card sales are final. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; shorter-notice cancellations are charged a late fee of half the scheduled service.

Treatments are customized to each client, with skin assessed and goals discussed before products and techniques are chosen for a facial.
