Flory Mohan Salon operates from Studio 22 inside the Sola Salons building in Westlake Town Center Plaza, off Detroit Road and Bradley, between Cabin Club and CVS. Clients turn left and follow the left-hand path to reach the studio. It is open Tuesday from 11 AM to 8:30 PM, Thursday from 11 AM to 8 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and it is closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.

The salon says its first priority is listening to each client's hair goals and challenges. Appointments begin with that conversation, and services are then adjusted to suit the client's daily routine. New guests start with a free 30-minute consultation.

Color is the largest part of the menu, covering full and partial foil highlights, custom highlights such as balayage and baby-lights, root touch-ups, single-process all-over color, accent foils and corrective work. Single-process color is generally used to cover gray or refresh earlier color, and it is not meant for going lighter or bleaching. A haircut is recommended alongside color transformations, and many color services include a cut or a style. Customized color and color correction require a consultation and a $150 deposit, booked by texting the stylist before scheduling.

Haircuts for women, men and children from age 0 to 12 are offered, along with bang trims that cover everything from full bangs to curtain bangs. Add-ons such as a toner or gloss, extra time for long or thick hair, and hot tools for straightening, curling or adding waves can be combined with most services. Brow tinting, brow waxing, and chin and lip waxing are also available.

Clients who want to recreate their salon style at home can ask the stylist to show them how. Changes, rescheduling, cancellations and no-shows made within 72 hours of an appointment carry a 50% fee. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. The salon begins each visit by learning what the client wants from their hair and what challenges they are dealing with, then shapes the service around how the client lives day to day.
