About

FloatWell is a wellness spa in Vancouver, Washington, that also serves Camas. It is founded by Dr. St. Clair, who also founded and owns NeuroWell, a chiropractic and functional medicine practice that the spa's services connect with. Together they cover a wide range of recovery, relaxation and skin care options under one name.

Floating takes place in private, sensory-reduced tanks filled with body-temperature water and Epsom salt. Each float room includes towels, hair care products, deodorant, Q-tips, two kinds of earplugs and petroleum jelly. Couples can book a shared float, which is offered only in the Couples Cabin. Children aged 8 to 17 need a parent or legal guardian present for a float, and first-time floaters complete a short waiver so staff can confirm floating is suitable for them.

Whole-body cryotherapy sessions run two to four minutes in a cold chamber held at -120º and are guided by trained staff. Localized cryotherapy cools specific areas for several minutes and must be booked by phone. Contrast therapy alternates cold cryotherapy with heat, often followed by a session in the infrared sauna. The spa also offers infrared and steam saunas, and its red light menu includes 360-degree red light and the Superhuman Protocol.

Massage options include therapeutic, deep tissue, prenatal, sports, craniosacral, lymphatic drainage and Raindrop Therapy. Clients choose the music, pressure, table heat and aromatherapy, and may undress to underwear or fully disrobe while draped at all times. Organic facials come in Express, Customized and Advanced versions, and body wraps begin with a dry brush, followed by an Eminence organic wrap, a mini facial, scalp massage and a warm rinse in a private shower.

Normatec compression supports muscle and tissue recovery, and a heated dry hydro massage lounger is available for purchase. Memberships place 100% of the monthly fee into a personal care balance, with unused funds rolling over, and members receive member-only pricing on treatments. The spa accepts PIP benefits, HSA cards and bills motor vehicle accident insurance for car accident injuries.

The spa takes a holistic approach that considers how the mind and body connect. The business describes its techniques and technologies as scientifically proven.

The business describes its atmosphere as friendly and professional.
