About

Fix Your Face has operated since 2013 as a studio run by its owner, Ellie Dileo. The name comes from a saying of the owner's grandmother about getting your face in order before going out. The studio calls itself an anti-spa and describes its treatments as results-oriented.

The studio says it welcomes clients of all appearances and personal styles, and that it embraces many different ideas of beauty. Consultation time is included in the price of every service. Brow Extensions pricing is available on inquiry, and the studio's other services cover brow rehab, skin treatments, lash lifts, complexion treatments, and waxing visits, where the technician can talk through skin concerns and suitable products. At a first waxing appointment, measurements and photos are taken to track progress, and the client is shown which skincare to use and which to avoid.

The studio is in a quiet building on the south side of Arlington Heights, right off Golf Road, about a two minute drive from Interstate 90, with plenty of lot parking. Its suite sits near the building's lobby that leads to the lot. Bookings are made online, and a credit card is needed to reserve, though it is only charged for a no-show or a last-minute reschedule.

The studio is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturdays are booked by appointment only. Walk-ins aren't accepted, and children aren't permitted in the studio. Cash is the only payment method; according to the studio, PayPal and Venmo count as cash under this policy. Cancelling or moving an appointment within 24 hours costs half the booked service, charged to the card on file. Last-minute cancellations within a few hours and no-shows may be billed the full price, which is more likely during holiday and wedding seasons. Arriving more than 10 minutes late is treated as cancelling without notice, and a late arrival keeps the full price but gets a shortened session.

The studio describes its treatments as results-oriented and says the treatment is chosen on arrival after a skin analysis, since skin needs change over time. Nearly all treatments include epidermal resurfacing, customized to skin type and concern.
