The salon says its goal is to combine hair design, current fashion and attentive customer service, and it plans each haircut and color around the individual client's features and style.

The menu covers women's, men's and children's cuts; base color, gloss and toner; partial and full highlights, balayage and corrective color; blowdries with curls or a flat iron; Lisse Design relaxers and piggyback perms; K tip and weft extension installs and removal; downstyles and updos; and brow and lash services. Braids and editorial styling are priced after a consultation.

Clients can book online at either location. At Birmingham, requests for color, highlight, extension, make-up or specialty appointments are made by phone or email. Bridal inquiries go by email and should include the wedding date, the number of services wanted and the location. Birmingham is open Tuesday through Saturday, and Rochester is open Tuesday through Saturday with shorter hours on Tuesday; both are closed Sunday and Monday.

First-time clients booking color, relaxer, perm or extension services pay a deposit at booking. Deposits can be refunded up to 48 hours before the appointment and are applied to the final bill. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment carry a fee, and a missed appointment with no call is charged the full price of the services. Arriving late may shorten the service or lead to rescheduling. Payment is due when services are finished, by major credit card or cash, and gratuity is accepted in cash only. Services are not refunded, but a client unhappy with the result should say so within a week and may be offered a complimentary redo within two weeks of the appointment. Unopened retail products can be returned within 30 days for a full refund, and used products can be exchanged or credited if at least 80 percent remains.

Haircuts and color are planned around each client's features and a balance between hair design and fashion. The salon states that it aims for skilled stylists, quality hair products, and continuing education and training.
