The boutique began in Houston, TX in 2015, shortly after its owner finished cosmetology school. The first salon suite had very few clients at the start, and word of mouth carried it through its first year. The Houston salon closed in June 2021 when the owner moved the business to Charlotte, NC.

During the COVID-19 closures, extensions were the only service offered, and that period is when the owner learned wig making and other luxury extension techniques. Extensions remain a central part of the menu, with sew-ins, closure sew-ins, quick weaves, half up/half down styles, wig installs, versatile sew-ins and tribal feed-in sew-ins listed under that heading.

Ponytails come in sleek and braided versions, and the braided option includes a shampoo and silk press before styling. Weddings are booked from a base price starting at $450, which includes onsite styling for the bride and two bridesmaids; final pricing follows a consultation. The booking site also lists categories such as braided crowns, crochet, keratin treatments, men's braids, microlinks, I-tips and tape-ins, quick weaves, silk press and shampoo and treatments.

The business states it has done celebrity styling and hosted Super Bowl events. It also introduced its own texture line of hair in 2018.

The boutique aims for an individualized hair experience, with each client's service shaped around their own hair needs. Education about hair health is part of every visit.
