The cosmetics line began more than 30 years ago, and Faye draws on a long career as a professional makeup artist, including years with high-end salons and cosmetics companies where she helped develop signature lines.

A visit can begin with a free consultation to talk through options and try products before booking. Brow services start with a consultation to assess the brows and discuss concerns. Drop-ins are accepted alongside scheduled appointments. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday with varying hours by appointment, so clients are asked to call ahead at 847-501-4000 for current times. Cancellations have no set policy; clients are asked to give as much notice as possible and call to cancel or reschedule.

Makeup can also be done on location for weddings, photo shoots and special events in the Chicago and North Shore area, with some out-of-state travel depending on availability. Weddings can be booked up to a year in advance, and other events are best arranged several weeks ahead. Wedding makeup pricing is provided on request and depends on location, party size and selected preferences.

The studio uses its own cosmetics line, made with natural ingredients and free of parabens and fragrance. The products are hypoallergenic, pigment-enriched and not tested on animals, with full ingredient lists available. They can be bought at the Winnetka salon or shipped.

Products and looks are chosen around each client's hair color, eye color, skin and facial features, with one-on-one personalization.
