Services are grouped into cuts and styling, color, treatments, extensions and updos. Color work includes glazes, retouches, full and partial highlights, balayage and Brazilian blowouts. A glaze or haircut booked alongside color must be added to the same appointment, and first-time color and chemical clients book a complimentary consultation as part of their first visit.

Treatments are offered for hair damaged by chemicals, heat or environmental exposure, using proteins and collagens. The Milbon Gold hair infusion treatment is $75 and includes a four-application weekly booster pack for home use that lasts up to five weeks; it must be booked by phone. Aqua Hair Extensions and special occasion updos both require a consultation, and extensions are also booked by calling the salon.

Appointments can be made online, through the Fernweh Salon app or by phone, and first-time clients need to call. A card on file secures bookings, and a 4 percent professional product fee applies to all services. Listed prices are starting points that may change with service complexity, the stylist's technical level or extra time or product. Clients expecting to be more than ten minutes late should call. Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice are charged 50 percent of the booked service, and no-shows are charged the full amount. Services cannot be refunded, though the salon will adjust one reported within three days. Unused products returned within seven days in original packaging, with a receipt, may be refunded, and opened products may carry a 10 percent restocking fee.
