Eye Kandy Lashes and Brows is an appointment-only studio in Suite B of the Pro Tech Construction Building at 812 FM -1626 in Austin, Texas. Its work centers on eyelash extensions and permanent brows, and appointments are booked by calling (737) 305-9093.

The studio does not allow guests, and it has no waiting room, so early arrivals wait in their car or outside until they are invited in. Appointments before or after regular hours can be requested for an extra $35. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes and no oils, and to wash their hair beforehand because lashes must stay dry for 24 hours. Arriving in mascara adds a $10 lash bath charge.

Lash maintenance is planned around the time since the last visit. Fills are recommended every 2 to 3 weeks and priced by the number of weeks elapsed, while a 4 week partial full set is offered for clients who cannot come back that often. Appointments more than 4.5 weeks after the previous set need a full set. New clients, and clients coming from a different lash artist, book foreign fills, which require at least 40 percent of the existing lashes to remain.

Permanent brow services include powder ombre, microshading that starts with microblade strokes and then adds shading, and cover-up brows that begin with color correction to neutralize discoloration. Touch ups are for existing brow clients within set time frames, and clients whose last appointment was more than a year ago are asked to contact the studio first. Cover-up brows must cover the old shape and cannot be smaller or thinner than it.

Cancellations or reschedules need at least 8 hours' notice; inside that window they carry a 60 percent fee. Clients with coughing, flu-like symptoms or severe allergy symptoms are asked to reschedule, since lash services are not performed on unwell clients.

Each visit is scheduled by appointment, and lash maintenance is structured around how many weeks have passed since the previous fill or set.
