Extensions Extraordinaire is a one-stylist business in a suite on East Baseline Road in Mesa, focused on hair extensions. Owner Lisa has worked as a stylist for 20 years and has specialized in extensions for the last 10.
Before any hair is ordered, a client books a 30-minute consultation to talk through the look they want, color matching, cost, upkeep and products. Once that is settled, a down payment covers the hair, which is ordered, and an application appointment is scheduled. The studio describes its aim as a comfortable, welcoming place for extension work.
The hair is 100% human Remy and comes in many colors. It can be curled, flat-ironed, washed and conditioned like natural hair. Removal and reinstallation are offered for each method, with maintenance every 4 to 8 weeks depending on the type.
Clients receive care guidance covering brushing, shampoo and conditioner choice, oils and sprays, washing frequency, water exposure, sleeping, and heat protection. Sales are final with no refunds, the studio reserves the right to refuse service, and clients who lose more than 10% of their extensions are asked to call for an appointment.
