The studio is run by owner Melissa H, who founded The Mane Authority, the studio's own extension line built on hand-selected hair. She also created The Mane Academy, which teaches advanced extension techniques, blending and sourcing to other stylists. The studio is in Suite 212, reached by going upstairs at Ty Alexander Salon.

Every installation is tailored to the client's hair type and lifestyle, and several extension methods may be combined. Hidden bead weft is the method clients request most often at the studio. Custom keratin tips use micro bonds, with each one hand-crafted to the client's hair, and custom color is included at the first keratin tip appointment. Keratin tips are not suited to low-density hair or to clients with heavy shedding or hair loss. Tape-ins are offered and may be recommended depending on hair type and goals.

An installation visit includes removing any existing extensions, washing and preparing the hair, installing the new extensions, blow-drying and styling, and precision cutting to blend the lengths. New clients complete a consultation form, attend an in-person consultation and receive an approved quote before booking an installation. Maintenance is generally recommended every six to eight weeks unless the stylist advises otherwise. Precision haircuts for women and men and keratin or Brazilian blowdry smoothing treatments are also offered. Color is not offered at the studio itself; color work is done by associate Mackenzie Brown.

Hair is purchased separately and is not included in service prices. Prices vary with length, natural color, texture, amount of hair, hair collection and customization. Keratin tip installations have been described as about $500 for density-only installs of 50g or less and $800 or more for length installs. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve each new-client appointment and is applied to the service. Cancelling or rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice is charged 50% of the scheduled service price, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full price.
