Melissa H owns the studio and works as its hair extension specialist. She founded The Mane Authority, a custom line built on hand-selected hair, and created The Mane Academy, which teaches advanced extension techniques, blending and sourcing to stylists. Her work centers on damage-free extensions blended for a natural look. She works with hidden bead weft extensions and custom keratin tips with micro bonds, and she takes on fine and lower-density hair as well as more advanced or challenging cases. She matches texture using hair sourced from around the world, and she also works with Slavic hair, ultra-fine textures and curly or textured blending. Keratin and Brazilian blowdry smoothing treatments are also part of her services. She has received education from leading hair extension companies and is certified in multiple extension methods, including Invisible Bead Extensions.
