Evolve Style + Co

Evolve Style + Co opened in a space that has been operating for about three years. Owner and stylist Renee founded the salon around that time, and it is built around the motto embrace, enhance, evolve. The salon's approach is to work with the beauty a client already has, build their confidence, and help them grow into a fuller version of their look.

Color is the main focus. Express, Maintenance and Transformation are the color packages, each including a haircut. Express adds a blowout and subtle sun-kissed highlights or lowlights. Maintenance refreshes lived-in color with slight changes. Transformation is a full color change, such as full balayage, full highlights or all-over color, and can move a client from light to dark or dark to light. A Women's Haircut includes a gloss, and makeup services are booked on inquiry.

Every visit starts with a 20-minute new client consultation to talk through goals, hair history, budget and what the hair can realistically do. New clients pay a deposit, which is $25 for a Women's Haircut, $50 for Express, and $100 for Maintenance or Transformation. The salon is open Monday and Thursday from 12 PM to 7 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and is closed Sunday.

For longer appointments, the salon offers blankets, snacks and drinks, and clients can choose their own music. Silent appointments with dimmed lights are also available. A heated shampoo bowl blanket is offered in colder months. Retail includes Kevin Murphy hair products, which have been the salon's line for over five years. The salon describes them as gentle and eco-conscious, as vegan as possible, with a little honey in some formulas. Other product options are available for different budgets.
