It sits roughly two blocks from Historic Downtown Littleton's Main Street, and clients can walk to nearby shops, coffee spots and cocktail bars. The studio says parking is not a hassle.

The studio describes its goal as excellent customer service paired with trend-forward professional work. A visit might combine a cut with shampoo and blow dry, a color service that includes a blow dry, and an add-on such as Olaplex or a toner or gloss. Balayage, full and partial highlights, bleach and tone, retouches and corrective color are all offered. Hair extensions, smoothing and straightening are priced after a consultation, and long hair perms are too.

Walk-ins are accepted occasionally, and call-in appointment requests are welcome. Prices depend on the stylist and the services finally provided. The studio says it will extend its hours to meet client needs. Each month, new artwork by local artisans goes on display and is available for purchase.

The studio also rents chairs to stylists full-time or part-time, seven days a week. Stylists have access to a back bar, towels, on-site laundry and beverages.

The studio says its philosophy centers on customer service and trend-forward work, and that its Surface products deliver strong performance without harsh chemicals.

Set in a 1901 building, the studio feels warm and inviting.
